Serving as Dean of the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and later the Dean of the System-wide Graduate School, Dr. Lawrence Meskin was a prominent figure for CU Anschutz. Mrs. Estelle Meskin donated books and journal issues as well as archives from Dr. Meskin’s personal collection in his honor after his death in 2007. Part of the archives donated focused on a particular era of Dr. Meskin’s work related to the Center for Research to Evaluate and Eliminate Dental Disparities (CREEDD). CREEDD has been inactive since around 2015, though it is still listed as an active group via Boston University School of Dentistry. However, the research done by CREEDD during Dr. Meskin’s time with the center is nevertheless remarkable.
