The Strauss Health Sciences Library invites you to explore its exhibit highlighting the Florence G. Strauss and Leonard A. Wisneski Indigenous & Integrative Health Collection. Established through the generosity of Henry L. and Joan T. Strauss, the collection supports education, research, and clinical practice by providing access to resources related to integrative, whole-person health practices and Indigenous, culturally based therapies from around the world.
The exhibit features a selection of print books, journals, and electronic resources from the collection covering topics such as traditional healing practices, herbal medicine, nutrition, mind-body medicine, whole-person care, psychedelic-assisted therapies, and other complementary health approaches.
The exhibit also highlights the Strauss-Wisneski Virtual Lecture Series, a free quarterly program featuring researchers, clinicians, and practitioners who discuss current topics in Indigenous and integrative health. The series provides opportunities to learn about emerging research and engage with diverse perspectives.
