Course Reserves

What are Course Reserves?

Course Reserves are materials, including books, disks, and instructional equipment, chosen by the faculty to support class instruction. The materials are held within the Strauss Health Sciences Library at the Service Desk where they are available for student access.

The Purpose of Reserves:

  1. Provide timely, convenient access to high-demand materials.
  2. Support CU Anschutz patrons in accessing materials easily at the Strauss Health Sciences Library.

Type of Course Reserves

The Strauss Health Sciences Library holds physical reserves which are hard copies of books, disks, instructional equipment, and other materials. These materials pertain to courses being taught on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. The Strauss Health Sciences Library does not carry or process electronic course reserves.

If you have questions and concerns about Course Reserves contact Andrew Gagnon, Access Services Specialist, by email at andrew.j.gagnon@cuanschutz.edu.
