Maureen Garrity, Ph.D., starts her career as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Becomes the Associate Dean for Admissions for the School of Medicine.
Takes a new position as the Associate Dean for Student Affairs.
Becomes active with the Association of American Medical Colleges, and for several years, serves as the Western representative to Group on Student Affairs.
Serves as the National Chair of the AAMC Group on Student Affairs.
Maureen becomes the new Associate Dean of Student Life.
Is recognized at the CU School of Medicine with the Chancellor's Teaching Recognition Award.
The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Student Affairs (GSA) awards Maureen the Exemplary Service Award.
Is awarded the Faculty Professionalism Award from the School of Medicine.
After suffering a recurrence of breast cancer in September 2016, Maureen retires after 34 years of service at the University of Colorado in March 2017.
