Maureen Garrity is born June 23, 1948, in Bakersfield, CA to parents Joan and William Garrity.

Graduates from Bishop McGuinness High School, Oklahoma City, OK.

Maureen graduates from the Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology.

Receives her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin with an emphasis in Physiological Psychology.

Completes her post-doctoral training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA.
