Donors raise over $100,000 in just four months to create the Maureen Garrity, Ph.D. Endowed Presidential Scholarship Fund (now known as The Dean’s Distinguished Scholarship).

Maureen retires after a distinguished 34-year career at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Throughout her tenure, she was an exceptional educator, mentor, and advocate for the students she served. Dr. Garrity was well-loved on campus as this Match Day event illustrates.

Maureen is awarded the Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships Volunteer-of-the-Year Award for her long service.

The Garrity/Little People’s Scholarship Fund is established to honor Maureen and recognize her longtime support and volunteer work for the Pepsi Little People’s Golf Tournament.
